I'm Max. I used to be a photographer in the 80's but then I had to earn a living, so I gave it up for twenty five years. I started taking photos again awhile ago, but realised that in the digital age there's way too many photographs already. Photos I really like cause snatches of lyrics from songs when I was a kid to magically appear in my mind. When that happens, I put them together. Simple as that.

I usually concentrate on one person's work at a time - currently its Daido Moriyama, for me, the greatest ever Japanese photographer.
